Scheduling
Scheduling is flexible and provider-friendly. Requests are submitted in advance, and every attempt is made to create a fair schedule which allows enjoyment of other pursuits. There are no seniority preferences for scheduling as is true of all aspects of provider input in the company. Providers are full members of the team on the day they begin.
Credentialing
Credentialing for facilities is done through the MESA office. An initial MESA information packet is completed by the provider, and all further credentialing forms for each facility are filled out by the office for the provider signature. Assistance is available throughout the credentialing process as well as with state licensure if needed. The MESA credentialing team makes the process as simple and as easy for the provider as possible.
Recruiting
MESA's recruiters are continuously working to assure we have quality providers and optimal coverage. They work with the provider throughout the process to help arrange visits, provide all necessary information, and assist in all facets of the transition and relocation phase. They are always there to assist MESA employees long after they join the team.
Continuing Education
MESA offers an in house CME program. We have created hands on workshops on Emergency Ultrasound and the difficult airway. Additionally, we have sponsored conferences on emergency ophthalmology, orthopedics, pediatric sepsis and infectious disease, patient satisfaction, and updates on cardiac and stroke care. We have utilized online CEM classes, podcasts, video downloads, and the LLSA articles. We are committed to helping you keep abreast of the latest developments of Emergency and Hospital Medicine, and maintain your CME requirements.
