Matt Dawson, our Director of Ultrasound, just released part 2 of the Fluid Responsiveness Podcast. He gives some more examples and talks about some algorithms you can actually use in your practice.

Dr. Ryan A. Stanton, MD appeared on WTVQ-DT ABC 36 for his ongoing Doctor on Call program. This week’s topic was about when a patient should use an Urgent Care versus an Emergency Room and the benefits of statin drugs.

He covers the topics of how to predict fluid responsiveness with just your hands and the probe, as well as how to measure Cardiac Output with just the ultrasound machine.

Congratulations to one of our own doctors, Ryan Stanton for receiving the ACEP Spokesperson of the Year Award.

This award recognizes him for going above and beyond to promote ACEP’s key messages and to educate the public. We look forward to seeing him continuing his dedication to educating the public.

Dr. Ryan A. Stanton MD appeared on WTVQ-DT ABC 36 for his ongoing Doctor on Call program. This week’s topic was about prescription pain killer abuse and unintentional overdoses, as well the need to complete Antibiotic prescriptions.

We are pleased to announce Pattie A. Clay has been selected by The Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM), in conjunction with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, in the Eighth Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky competition.

This is the second year the hospital has been chosen. The winner rankings will be announced on Thursday, April 19, 2012.

We want to congratulate them on being selected, and wish them good luck.
