New MESA Facilities
Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is a 259-bed acute-care facility.
A modern, state-of-the-art facility, Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital offers complete cardiac care, including open-heart surgery, interventional cardiology and electrophysiology as well as a neuroscience institute that is rated among the best in the nation.
The hospital also contains a complete clinical laboratory, intensive care units, surgical services, including orthopedic and urological, as well as diagnostic imaging, featuring MRI, 64-slice CT and digital mammography. Other specialty services include women’s and children’s services, a Level II neonatal nursery, cardiopulmonary services, behavioral health unit, geriatric unit, and inpatient rehabilitation unit.
Georgetown Community Hospital
Georgetown Community Hospital is a 75-bed acute care facility with an award winning history of providing excellence in healthcare.
Georgetown Community Hospital has been named a “100 Top Hospital” three times in recent years, and recently ranked 6th in the “15 Best Places To Work in Kentucky”. The hospital features a newly renovated ICU, Med/Surg Unit and 24- Hour Emergency Department. State-of-the-art- equipment includes: MRI, Lithotripsy, CT Scanner and Ultrasound.
Georgetown is highly noted for its historic homes and also known as one of the state’s fastest growing cities. Located at the crossroads of I-75 and I-64, it is ideally located just 10 miles north of Lexington, the Horse capital of the World. Two larger cities, Louisville and Cincinnati provide quick access to arts, entertainment, shopping and professional sports.
